For over 20 years I have committed myself to become one of the most well-respected and dedicated criminal defense and dui defense attorneys in the Atlanta metro area. I work hard every day to live up to this reputation and to achieve this goal by being more prepared, more knowledgeable, and more aggressive and innovative than my peers and opponents.

My commitment to being a lifetime learner, my memberships in national and state organizations, and continued training keep me on the cutting edge of all DUI and criminal issues in the State of Georgia.

I have been the lead attorney in over 4,000 felony and misdemeanor cases, including over 50 murder cases and over 200 sex crime cases. I have trained other attorneys in trial and litigation skills, supervised other attorneys in court and in a trial, and have frequently been asked by other attorneys to consult on their cases.

I began my career as a public defender in Fulton County over twenty years ago and I have always represented people; individuals, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters … never the government. It’s been my privilege to tell their stories, to help alleviate their stress, and to help them move forward with their lives and secure their futures.

I have handled some of the toughest cases in the state, representing people charged with the most serious of offenses such as Murder, Sex Crimes, and Drug Trafficking to Simple Possession and DUI’s and everything in between. No matter the charge, I bring the same attention to detail and the same aggressive defense to every single case for every single client.

My mission as your attorney is to bring excellence, experience, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything my team does. And to remind you to be positive. Bad things can happen to good people, but that does not mean they have to define a person. My commitment as your attorney is to make sure nothing gets in the way of you achieving your best future.

As a former public defender, I know what it’s like to carry a caseload of 300 cases and the difficulty involved in making sure every single one of those clients gets the very best legal representation, not constitutionally adequate representation, the best representation. And that means more than just showing up at court or taking a plea. You, your family, and your future all deserve better.

I have always strived to help people from all walks of life. My goal is to level the field for people caught in a system that’s stacked against them. I became a lawyer to help people, to help others through life’s problems with empathy and compassion, and to make sure that everyone is treated fairly. If you’ve been charged with a crime, my job is to make sure that no one loses sight of the fact that you’re a unique individual, not a case number on a docket.

Being charged with a criminal offense is one of the most stressful and upsetting events a person can endure. I take special pride in knowing each of my clients’ needs and goals for not only their case but also their goals for their future. I work hard so that I can do as much worrying about the case for you as possible, and let you worry about the things you normally do. You’ll rest easier knowing that your case is in the hands of someone who not only knows how to help you but also cares about you and your future.
